I found this site that explains in detail the skills needed to perform many difficult tasks using the wood lathe. The videos are excellent and definately show you the step by step processess to perfoem theses taks yourself. After viewing most of them I am excited to get on a lathe and start turning.

The Michigan based website offers a wide array of outlook options for students. The particular serch that I perfrormed shows the average of what construction managers make annually. I can show this to my students that are likely going into the field out of high shool and also use it to show students how important it is to further educate themselved so that there goals of a career can be achieved.

Being a woodshop teacher and reading the common rules and procedures in the shop atmoshphere thousands of times and in many different ways, the common factor is still common sense. It is interesteing that the wordage used is common in every top 10 list yet you still can pick up a few new ideas and imagine things differently when worded in a slightly different way. This is good information that can benefit all hands on workers.
